Our Mission

Vision

A world free of social injustice, racism, and where all people are treated with dignity and respect.

In August of 2020, Renee Clarke responded to late Congressman John R Lewis' call to action to “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and redeem the soul of America.” Good Trouble members host virtual meetings to discuss all matters regarding voting rights, social injustice and the recent incidents of policing in black communities.  Good Trouble's mantra is to seek change, justice and equality for all.

History

Goals

Education reform. Voter education. Partner with law enforcement and organizations to mitigate crime.

“Speak up, speak out, get in the way,” Congressman Lewis urged a crowd from the Edmund Pettus Bridge before his death. “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America." Congressman John R. Lewis
