Who We Are

Since August of 2020, the Good Trouble Think-Tank has served as a grassroots answer to the late Congressman John Lewis' call to action to organize, seek change, justice and equality for all.

We are mothers, fathers, grandparents, educators, mentors, and citizens who are passionate about making a difference in the community. When we see inequity in our communities, we are driven to do something about it.

"Ours is not the struggle of one day, one week, or one year. Ours is not the struggle of one judicial appointment or presidential term. Ours is the struggle of a lifetime, or maybe even many lifetimes, and each one of us in every generation must do our part."

Renee Clarke
Community Activist & Founder

After meeting late Congressman John Lewis in 2019, I was inspired to answer his call to action to “Get in Good Trouble.”

In August of 2020, I established the Good Trouble Think-Tank to serve as a grassroots answer to his call to action to organize and seek change, justice, and equality for all.

I want to make a difference in the world, getting into good and necessary trouble to redeem the soul of our nation.

Plan a Fundraiser

Active participation is an essential part of our movement’s success. Planning a Fundraiser is a great way to connect with your local community and spread the importance of our mission. With several different campaigns, it is easy to find something that personally inspires you.
